Eric Ball is the Chief Executive Officer and a Director of AFIA. Mr. Ball holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Prior to joining America First, Mr. Ball was employed by Wallace R. Weitz & Company, a value-oriented mutual fund investment firm. During his career, Mr. Ball has served as Vice President and Manager of Equity Strategy in the trust department of FirsTier Bank, N.A., Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Westchester Capital Management, Inc., a registered investment advisory firm and as a Securities Analyst for Kirkpatrick, Pettis, Smith and Polian, Inc. Mr. Ball is a past president of the Omaha-Lincoln Society of Financial Analysts.

David Guthrie is the President and Director of Client Development and Financial Planning for AFIA. Prior to joining AFIA, Mr. Guthrie worked for Wells Fargo Private Bank as Vice President and Senior Private Banker. During his 30+ year career in the banking industry, Mr. Guthrie also served as a middle market lender in the Commercial Lending department at US Bank. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters of Business Administration both from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Mr. Guthrie also graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington in Seattle.

Barry Dunaway is Executive Vice President and Director of Research for AFIA. Before joining America First in 2004, he was a portfolio manager and senior securities analyst for KPM Investment Management in Omaha. During his career, Mr. Dunaway also served as a securities analyst for Wallace R. Weitz & Company and was a portfolio manager and securities analyst for the trust department of FirsTier Bank, N.A. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Matt Holloway is Vice President of Advisor Services for AFIA. Mr. Holloway is a holder of the Certified Financial Planner™ certification. Mr. Holloway graduated summa cum laude from the Peter Kiewit Institute of the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Engineering. Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and CFP in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.

Katerina Wiese is the Chief Compliance Officer and a Financial Planner for AFIA. Prior to joining America First, Mrs. Wiese worked for a local financial planning firm. A Graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis on Finance, Banking and Investments. Mrs. Wiese has experience in Financial Planning Services. Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and CFP in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
