Investment Management & Financial Planning
We take care of people who need someone to manage their long-term investments.
They may be uncertain what to do with their retirement accounts, taxable savings, inheritance or proceeds from the sale of a business. Or they may be experienced investors who want to hire an advisor so that they can spend time on other things.
Our clients also have questions about financial planning. Do I have enough to live on in retirement? How do required minimum distributions from IRAs work? Is it possible to consolidate some of the accounts I have to make things easier to manage?
From People You Trust
We’ve been in business for quite a while, and it’s likely that we have helped other people in your situation. All of the employees at America First are substantial owners of the company and are committed to maintaining our reputation.
Many advisors claim to put the interests of their clients first. However, you will often find that these same advisors also sell mutual funds, insurance, annuities and other financial products. That presents a conflict: Is the advisor acting in your best interest or his?
We do not sell financial products. Our only business is investment management and financial planning. Our only income is a quarterly management fee.
We Listen to You
At America First, you work with the actual decision-makers on your portfolio, not a customer rep at a call center. Clients like being on a first name basis with our employee-owners.
We stay in touch. We keep you informed about your portfolio and ask about changes in your life that may affect how we should invest for you. You can also call us any time with questions about your portfolio or financial planning.
Let’s Get Started
Call us to discuss your situation. If we can help, we’ll be pleased to have you become a new client. If we’re not the right solution, we can likely point you in the right direction. We do ask that potential clients have at least $300,000 available for long-term investment.
New clients sign a simple management agreement that allows us to invest on their behalf. They also sign paperwork to open an account at a discount brokerage firm that will act as the custodian for their assets. Once your account has been set up and funded, we will invest for you.
